BRIDGE TO HOME
For over 30 years, Athens Area Homeless Shelter (AAHS) has been providing shelter in the Athens community, adapting to changing needs and filling gaps. We’ve learned that for real change, there must be the potential for education and increased income. In Bridge to Home, AAHS will provide safe, stable housing, quality childcare, and onsite trauma informed programming during the entirety of an enrolled student’s program in higher education as well as up to three months post graduation as families secure work, save for housing and utility deposits. See below for the 3 main program requirements for screening!
MAIN PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:
01
Experiencing Homelessness
02
Children under 18 in your custody.
03
Already enrolled in Higher Education program.
Are you a student-parent who meets the requirements above? Please fill out the form below to be screened for the program!
